$110,000 Shorthorn Bull - New Sire - The Grove Oscar |
Sire: The Grove Lockyer
Dam: The Grove Dale 39th |
Oscar was purchased at The Grove bull sale for $55,000, for a half posession and marketing share, valuing the bull at $110,000. After the loss of his sire, The Grove Lockyer, two days prior to The Grove's sale, the decision to purchase Oscar was made. His sire is a bull that bred excellent quality, no matter what cow he was joined to. Oscar's dam was the leading matron at The Grove for many years and produced 36 calves both naturally and by ET before her death at 16 years. We look farward to the arrival of his calves next year. |
