We believe meat quality will play a major role in the future of our beef industry and we are currently researching the eating quality of our herd by implementing the use of GeneSTAR DNA marker technology to identify traits such as meat tenderness and marbling. We won the LJ Hooker Beef Taste Test at the Brisbane Royal Agriculture Show in 2004 and were Runners Up in 2005 from a strong line up each year with all major breeds represented.
