Wilgaroon Jester (P)

Wilgaroon Jester (P) was Grand Champion Santa Gertrudis Bull at the 2004 Brisbane Royal Show. Jester is the sire of Warenda Sahara (P), Australian Record Priced Santa Gertrudis bull. Jester has also sired many other bulls selling for high prices. Jester's dam Wilgaroon E17 is a large framed Murrumbo Beaumon (P) daughter that is breeding well. Jester at 12 months of age weighed 584kg with a daily weight gain of 1.51kg/day. When he won at Brisbane he was 21 months, weighed 1004kg and had an EMA of 130sq/cm.

Warenda Mexico (P)

Warenda Mexico (P) is a leading sire at Wilgaroon both in the purebred herd and the Durham Tropical program. He is a son of WH Major who sold to the Strathmore stud for $44,000. His progeny have performed well in the show ring and in carcass competitions. A son of Mexico won the 2004 'Taste Off' in the 100 day competition. His EBV's and GeneSTAR say everything. His calves are very thick, growthy and sound in structure. A daughter, Wilgaroon Kit Kat (P), won Junior Champion Heifer at the Goondiwindi Feature show.

Wilgaroon Kokoda (P)

Kokoda is our leading son of Mexico (P). His dam, Sapphire, is the foundation female of the Wilgaroon herd and has had 14 out of 15 calves classify. All her sons have been used in the herd with Murrumbo Beaumon (P) the founding sire. Kokoda is a bull with length, weight for age, good sheath and wide top line.

D580 is an outstanding calf with a pedigree to match. He is an ET calf out of Sapphire who is still going at over 19 years of age. She is the dam of 15 calves, 14 classified. D580 has acquired a lot of his structural correctness attributes from his dam and is a quiet, clean sheathed, poll bull. His first calves are long, slick skinned with neat underlines. E199 is a big strong upstanding bull with a lot of character which will increase the walking and foraging ability in his progeny. We believe the maternal traits, growth and thickness he displays are what we are looking for in our Durham Tropical cattle.

Warenda Domino D508 (P)

D508 broke his front leg as a yearling bull. He had always been one of the best bulls for the year drop so the decision was made to keep him. He is the only sire we are using by the legendary Tyndale Noddy. We believe Noddy crossed with Mexico will work extremely well. He is pictured here at 18 months.
