Liz Playing Polocrosse

John and Liz play Polocrosse for the Galloping Gully Club which is based 25 km north of Narrabri. Our club colours are brown and white and our carnival is held on the 2nd weekend in August every year. In 2005 Galloping Gully hosted the Interstate Challenge between NSW and QLD. To find out more about Polocrosse visit the NSW Polocrosse website. You can also visit the Galloping Gully website.

2006 Season

The 2006 season has now started and the first carnival we went to was LIghtning Ridge. Liz played 'D' grade on Kirkby's Stud Glamour, an open draft winner and our team was runner up. This was Glamour's first game of Polocrosse and showed a lot of potential with some great turns on the field. A great weekend was had by the 2 Guly teams.

2005 Season

In the 2005 season Liz played Wallah Ugly - I know it is a terrible name but it just stuck when he got broken in!! Ugly is by Condamine Serenity by Luckenough Destiny (by Reality) and out of a Thoroughbred mare. Liz and Ugly were awarded best number 3 at Lightning Ridge which was the highlight of Liz's season.
